You will have to utilize the save points and get adjusted to the controls but it’s all worth it. I have played about 10hours of both the Ps2 and the Wii version of Okami.

Beyond that, there is nothing new in this game content wise. The DS4 touch pad enables brush strokes and some toggles you can turn on or off to adjust graphics. The game has been brought to PC for the first time, which enables 4K graphics and with right console and display you can play Okami HD in 4K.
There is literally nothing new in this 3rd release of the very same game. You will stop and pause to admire it plenty of times during gameplay. This is not the fault of the game though, it's just that the platforms (and controllers) other than those two just doesn't have the option for it. No other versions have support for the analog buttons. The water colors and Cel Shaded graphics bring the world to life and it is a sight to behold. It's only exclusive to the PS2 and PS3 versions, since they can natively interpret DS2 and DS3's analog face buttons. Not that combat is the focus here, but after. The game art-style still hold today and with today’s technology it looks stunning, it does not look like the game is 11 years old. The close combat weapons range from beads to oversized swords, but their button-mashing combo attacks are basically the same from beginning to end. A simple stroke of brush ends all the fights with artistic beauty. Mostly the fights are straight forward but the brush provides the finishing blow. It is unique and most fun element of the game and ties right into the water color art-style. It is part of every puzzle as you use the brush to paint essential elements in the game. Its no wonder Okami already has buzz as one of the last great PS2 games.
